There is a big difference between a tittle and a deed. The first is a legal document that says, or proves, that you are the owner of the property itself.
The second is basically a legal document that proves the transfer of assets from one person to another. In this case, from the seller to you as the buyer, or vice versa.
In the United States there are five different types of deeds: Warranty deed; special deed; quitclaim deed; bargain comes out deed; and grant deed.
